Problem Solving Techniques

In this program, participants develop their ability to recognize and solve problems using a proven approach. The program teaches participants how to use several widely-accepted problem solving tools such as cause and effect diagrams, flowcharting, run charts, and force field analysis. Participants can take the subsequent course, Process Analysis: An Introduction to Statistical Techniques, to improve their problem solving abilities.

What You Will Learn:

  • Describe the steps of the problem solving model.
  • Describe and use various techniques for collecting data/information.
  • Conduct a root cause analysis that arrives at a corrective action plan.
